    About this opportunity:The new Fife Renal Service will support patients undergoing dialysis at St Andrews Hospital to get to and from appointments, three times a week. Use your driving skills and friendly personality to help people in your local community.

    Volunteers will collect the patient at home and take them to their appointment and then collect them at the hospital to take them home and see them into the house safely. Shifts are available 6 days a week, early morning, middle of the day, teatime, and weekday late evening - let them know what you could manage as you don't need to do all of this!

    Training provided:Induction training includes adult protection, data protection, Health and Safety, lone volunteering, Dementia awareness and manual handling. There are many other courses available including customer service, online skills, self-development, wellbeing and more. Support is provided by the staff team and is available as often as needed
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Mileage is reimbursed at 45 pence per mile

    Experience required:Good Communication skills needed. You should also be a dependable driver with access to a car, and have a willingness to help clients.
